Guitar Industry Leaders See Time to Shine in Harrisburg

Guitar Industry Icons Bring their Circus to Town

July 19, 2016 PHILADELPHIA –   They call themselves Creem Circus (after their two favorite 70’s rock magazines). They were reared on the glory days of stadium rock, a goldmine of songs, sequins, glam, platform shoes and glitter bug-eyed glasses. That pretty much explains their live show, full of pomp, visuals, wardrobe changes, stacked amps, wild guitars and crazy planned theatrics. Reviews thank the band for reviving the styles of MC5, Thin Lizzy and Sweet

However this band has built an industry reputation that precedes them. Guitarist / Frontman Chris DiPinto, and Guitarist, Jim Cara became two of the most well-known and respected custom guitar makers in the world. If the names Kiss, David Bowie, Ozzy, Steve Miller, Cheap Trick, The Cars, Jack White, House of Blues and he Rock and Roll hall of fame mean anything to you, then you’ve seen and heard their work.

Drummer, Rob Giglio had also put his entertainment skills to work in a career with NFL Films, and Bassist, David Janney a well-respected singer, songwriter, guitarist, and studio musician.

Creem Circus was signed to Philly’s hugely successful Independent Label, Creep Records, and the first full album Creem Circus, Rock and / or Roll was released on CD, and iTunes in 2015. A video for the single Riff Mountain was also released that year, with follow up videos Rock and Roll Band Revisited, and Teenage Rules. Sales to the retro community demanded a Vinyl release in 2016.

It’s undeniably apparent when you see a Creem Circus show in a regional venue that the band is on another level. They don’t deny they have an edge. Their industry reputations put them in the circles with the most recognizable rockers on the planet. There’s really no better way to learn how to command the stage and audiences. They’ve gathered tricks, antics, wardrobes and experience firsthand from the greatest stage performers in rock.

Mind you this is not Hair Metal, or Poser rock, the band pays homage to the 70’s legends, but you can see where the influence is taken to an art form, so much it has put Creem Circus in the league with such newer acts as Biters, Darkness, and picking up where T-Rex, Slade, and Sweet left off.
